Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Senseo HD7810/75 1450-Watt Single-Serve Coffeemaker, Blue

Customer Review: LOVE IT!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

My mother bought me a BUNN pot for home about 5 years ago, and I thought that was the BEST coffee pot ever....Until now. I also used to go to Starbucks every morning on my way into the office....Until now!

I love this pot. It brews quickly, which I loved about the BUNN, but makes the Yummy coffee like I enjoyed from Starbucks. Yes, it is a bit noisy, but only for a minute, and like someone else said...it could be much worse.

Enjoy!!

Customer Review: If You Really Enjoy Your Coffee Don't Waste Your Time
Summary: 1 Stars

I received this machine free through a promo with Sara Lee. The only up front cost was the freight. The coffee that comes with the machine is called "dark roast". I would rather drink hot water and lemon, that would be tastier. I was still curious so I purchased the Senseo Espresso pods and espresso pod holder. If you follow instructions and flush the machine with hot water first, you can get a cup of soso espresso, but I would never pay full price for this machine to drink their grades of coffee. If you are a coffee aficionado or espresso lover, save up and buy the "Lavazza Espresso Point", yes it is expensive but you cannot get a better cup of coffee. You really do get what you pay for.

Customer Review: Meh
Summary: 2 Stars

I was excited about this at first - nice crema, reduced cleaning, convenience of pods. After using it exclusively for several weeks, there was something missing but I couldn't figure out what it was. The coffee wasn't bad, but it wasn't better than my auto drip, and it was nowhere near coffee house standards. Not sure if my unit is broken but I finally figured out today that the heating of the water is less than optimal. This may explain the need for priming... My temp, even after priming, only reached about 170 degrees. For proper coffee extraction temps should be in the 190-200 range. So, due to this, I say pass on this model.

Customer Review: fabulous!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

I love this coffee maker...I was a little apprehensive after reading some of the reviews. But I have to say the coffee is hot(I Burned my lip and tongue a little), easy breasy clean up, the senseo barista blends are perfect for this, the caramel tastes just like star.....s which is what i was looking for. Now I can save money and not go to the coffee shop all the time for a latte. havent tried the tea yet but i do have the tpod holder. will let you know about that. I have ordered the coffee duck permanent pod filter for this machine. will let you know about that as well. Highly recommend to purchase if u are a latte or cappucino junkie!!!!

Customer Review: Very nice machine.
Summary: 5 Stars

Very nice. Makes a great cup of coffee and is a breeze to clean up. Now that everyone is getting into the pods the variety is out there. It is perfect for my cup of coffee to take on the road...now I do not have to waste 1/2 a pot.
